Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification:
- Field Engineer (Electrical): B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical or equivalent with 55% marks + 1 year experience.
- Field Engineer (Civil): B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil with 55% marks + 1 year experience.
- Field Supervisor (Electrical): Full-time Diploma in Electrical with 55% marks + 1 year experience. Higher qualification not allowed.
- Field Supervisor (Civil): Diploma in Civil with 55% marks + 1 year experience. Higher qualification not allowed.
- Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication): Diploma in Electronics/E&C/IT or equivalent with 55% marks + 1 year experience.
Age Limit (as on 17.09.2025): The maximum age of the candidates should be 29 years. However, age relaxation will be given as per the government guidelines, such as 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 10 to 15 years for PwBD candidates, and for ExSM, it will be as per the rules.

Selection Process
Eligible candidates have to pass the Common FTE Written Test for this recruitment. Then, for Field Engineer, qualifying candidates will be called for an interview. However, for Field Supervisor, direct empanelment will be done on the basis of the written test. At the last stage, document verification and medical examination will be conducted.
- Common FTE Written Test (Pan India) – 75 questions (50 Technical + 25 Aptitude).
- For Field Engineer: Interview (Qualifying – 40% UR/EWS, 30% reserved).
- For Field Supervisor: Direct empanelment based on written test marks.
- Document Verification & Medical Test.
Exam Pattern
If we talk about the Common FTE Written Test, then we can say a candidate will get 1 hour to answer 75 MCQ questions. Each question will carry one mark, and there is no negative marking. There are two sections: Technical Knowledge Test and Aptitude Test. Fifty questions will come from the Technical Knowledge section and 25 from the Aptitude section. Compensation & Benefits

- Field Engineer: ₹30,000-1,20,000 (Basic ₹30,000) + DA + HRA + Perks (CTC ~ ₹8.9 Lakh/year)
- Field Supervisor: ₹23,000-1,05,000 (Basic ₹23,000) + DA + HRA + Perks (CTC ~ ₹6.8 Lakh/year)
- EPF, Gratuity, Leave, Medical Insurance, Accident Insurance, Increments @ 3% yearly.
