Eligibility Criteria for HPCL Officer Recruitment

Age Limit

  • Most positions: 25-27 years (Freshers)
  • Experienced positions: Up to 45 years depending on role
  • Age relaxation:
    • 5 years for SC/ST
    • 3 years for OBCNC
    • 10 years for PwBD (UR)

Educational Qualification

  • Engineering Positions: 4-year full-time regular engineering course in relevant discipline
  • Executive Assistant: Minimum 3-year full-time regular graduation in any discipline
  • Chartered Accountants: Qualified CA from ICAI with completion of mandatory Articleship
  • Officer - HR: 2-year full-time Post graduate Degree in HR/MBA with HR specialization
  • Minimum Marks: 65% for UR/OBCNC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates

HPCL Officer Recruitment - Selection Process

  1. Computer Based Test:
    • General Aptitude (English, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning)
    • Technical/Professional Knowledge
  2. Document Verification: For candidates qualifying CBT
  3. Group Task/Group Discussion: For shortlisted candidates
  4. Personal Interview: Technical and/or personal interviews
  5. Psychometric Assessment: May be conducted for certain positions
  6. Medical Examination: Pre-employment medical fitness test
