BHEL Artisan Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility criteria for BHEL Artisan can be separated on the basis of educational qualification and age limits. We have given all the eligibility details below. However, knowledge of the regional language is desirable for this recruitment.
Education Qualification: Class Xth plus National Trade Certificate (NTC/ITI) plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) holders are eligible for this recruitment. General and OBC candidates must have 60% marks in both NTC/ITI and NAC. However, SC & ST candidates must have 55% marks in both NTC/ITI and NAC.
Age Limit (as on 1st July 2025): Age limits of the candidates are given below. A candidate must come under these age limits as mentioned in the official notification. Age relaxation is also available as per the government rules.

BHEL Artisan Selection Process
Eligible candidates have to go through the BHEL selection process as mentioned in the official notification. There are two stages in this selection process. In Stage I, a candidate has to pass the computer-based examination. Candidates who pass Stage I will be called for the Skill Test and Document Verification in the second stage, where the skill test is qualifying in nature. In document verification, a candidate has to show all the related documents in original format.

- Stage II: Skill Test & Document Verification.
Final merit will be prepared based on CBE scores of candidates who qualify the Skill Test.
