Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
- Candidates need to have a university degree (preference for Law degree). However, there is relaxation for candidates with 10+ years as Stenographer (Lower Grade) or 8+ years as Stenographer (Higher Grade) in High Court/other Courts/Tribunals.
- Candidates need to have an English shorthand speed of 120 w.p.m. or above (Government Commercial Certificate/ITI).
- English Typing speed of 50 w.p.m. or above (Government Commercial Certificate/ITI/GCC-TBC).
- Candidates also need to have computer proficiency certificate (as per specified Government Resolutions) if typing certificate is from non-GCC-TBC sources.
Age Limit (as on 18/08/2025):
The age limit of the candidates must be between 21 to 38 years for this recruitment. However, age relaxation will be given as per the government rules. For example, the age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Special Backward Class is 21 to 43 years. However, there is no upper age limit for High Court/Government employee candidates.

Selection Process
