Eligibility Criteria for SBI Recruitment

Education Qualification: A candidate who has a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university is eligible for this recruitment. A final year student can also apply for it, but must produce proof of passing on or before 31.12.2025.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern
Preliminary Exam: If we talk about the exam pattern, then we can see that a candidate will get 60 minutes to answer 100 questions. It is an objective type test. In the preliminary exam, there are mainly three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. In English Language, there will be 30 questions, but in Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability, there will be 35 questions in each section. There is also negative marking in the preliminary exam. However, marks obtained by the candidates in the preliminary exam will not be counted in the preparation of the final merit list. Main Exam: In the main examination, a candidate will get 2 hours 40 minutes to answer 190 questions. The total marks of the main examination are 200. There are four sections in this main examination: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. There is also negative marking in this main examination. However, marks obtained by the students in the main examination will be counted in preparing the final merit list. Local Language Test: The local language test will be held after the provisional selection but before joining. If any candidate fails to qualify the language test, they will not be appointed for this recruitment. However, any candidate who produces a class 10th or 12th standard marksheet to show that they have studied these standards in the specified opted language does not need to take the local language test.
