Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from a recognized Board. Additionally, must have passed ITI in a relevant trade (as listed in the notification) issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Technical Qualification: ITI certificate/ National Trade Certificate affiliated to NCVT/ SCVT is compulsory in the relevant trade.

RRC NCR Apprentice Selection Process
- Merit List Preparation: Selection is based purely on merit. The merit list is prepared by calculating the average of the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate) and the ITI examination.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (1.5 times the number of vacancies) will be called for verification of original documents and certificates.
- Medical Examination: Selected candidates must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate as per Annexure "H".

- Vision: Candidates having vision in one eye are eligible except for 17 specified trades (like Electrician Aircraft, Rigger, etc.). Colour vision is not required.
- Hearing must be good in both ears without the use of a hearing aid.
- Blood Pressure: Should not exceed 140 systolic and 85 diastolic. Candidates with systolic below 100 are rejected.
- Free from diseases of the skin, cardiovascular, respiratory, genito-urinary, nervous, and glandular systems.
