Education Qualification:
A candidate who has passed B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing from any INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University is eligible for Nursing Officer Recruitment. Remember, a candidate must be registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council. Another way to join as a nursing officer is if a candidate has a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized institute, registration as Nurse & Midwife, and 2 years’ experience in a 50+ bedded hospital; they are also eligible for this recruitment.
Age Limit (as on 11.08.2025): If we talk about the age limits of AIIMS NORCET 9 Nursing Officer Recruitment, then we can say a candidate must have the age between 18 to 30 years. However, age relaxation is applicable for other categories as per government rules. Age relaxation is as follows:

Nursing Officer Recruitment Selection Process
An eligible candidate has to pass the AIIMS NORCET selection process to join as a Nursing Officer. This selection process includes two stages, which we have mentioned below. However, the NORCET Preliminary Exam is qualifying in nature. Marks obtained by the candidates are not added to the final merit list. However, a candidate has to pass this preliminary exam to go to the next stage.

Exam Pattern
