LPSC Eligibility Criteria
If we talk about the eligibility criteria of this recruitment, then it can be divided on the basis of educational qualification and age limits. However, as we mentioned earlier, there are multiple posts in this recruitment; therefore, the educational qualification will be different according to the post. Education Qualification:
- Technical Assistant (Mechanical): Candidates must have a three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with First Class.
- Technical Assistant (Electronics): Candidates must have a three year Diploma in Electronics Engineering with First Class
- Sub Officer: Leading Fireman/DCOs with 6 years experience and possessing Sub-Officer's certificate OR B.Sc with PCM + Sub Officer's Certificate + Min. 2 years experience as Leading Fireman after Sub-Officer's course
- Technician 'B' (Turner/Fitter/RAC): Candidates must be SSLC/SSC pass with ITI/NTC/NAC in the relevant trade from NCVT.
- Heavy Vehicle Driver 'A': Candidates should be SSLC pass with 5 years experience (minimum 3 years as HVD).
- Light Vehicle Driver 'A': Candidates should be SSLC pass + 3 years experience as LVD
Age Limit (as on 26.08.2025): The maximum age limit of the candidate should be 35 years. However, age relaxation will be given according to government rules, such as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Application Fee
Eligible and interested candidates have to pay application fees for this recruitment. This payment will be made through online mode only. Candidates who appear for the written test will have a part of the application fees refunded. However, for SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen/Female candidates, the total application fees will be refunded. ISRO LPSC Selection Process
Eligible candidates have to go through the ISRO LPSC selection process. All candidates have to appear for a written test. Then, candidates who pass this written test will be called for a skill test, but it will not be applicable for the Sub Officer post. For the Sub Officer post, candidates also need to participate in a physical efficiency test and medical examination. We have given all the details below.

Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of this recruitment is different according to its post. We have discussed it below. For more detailed information, candidates are instructed to read the official notification.
For Technical Assistant & Technician Posts: Candidates will get 90 minutes to answer 80 multiple-choice questions. Each question will carry one mark, and 0.33 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
For Sub Officer Post: For the Sub Officer post, candidates have to answer 100 multiple-choice questions in 120 minutes. The syllabus includes Fire Fighting, Rescue Operations, First Aid, etc.
For Driver Posts: Candidates will get 120 minutes to answer 100 objective questions.
Physical Standards (For Sub Officer Post)
As we mentioned earlier, the physical standards is required only for the Sub Officer post. All the details like height, weight, and chest expansion for both male and female candidates are given below. Candidates are advised to check them properly.
