- Nationality:
- Citizen of India, or
- Subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries
- SSC CGL Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025):
- 18-27 years for most Group 'C' posts
- 18-30 years for many Group 'B' posts
- 18-32 years for Junior Statistical Officer
- Age relaxation available for reserved categories
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree from recognized university for most posts
- Specific requirements for Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade-II
