Eligibility Criteria for IAF Medical Assistant Airmen Recruitment

Education Qualification: The educational qualifications for this recruitment are given below.
- 10+2/Intermediate/Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in EnglisThe educational qualifications for this recruitment are given below.h.
- OR Two years’ Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
- For Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy candidates: Intermediate/10+2 with PCB & English (50% marks) plus Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy (50% marks) with valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or PCI.
Age Limit (as on date of enrolment):
- For 10+2 candidates: Unmarried, born between 02 July 2005 and 02 July 2009 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit: 21 years.
- For Diploma/B.Sc Pharmacy candidates: Unmarried - born between 02 July 2002 and 02 July 2007; Married - born between 02 July 2002 and 02 July 2005. Upper age limit: 24 years.

Selection Process
Eligible candidates must go through the Indian Air Force (IAF) selection process as mentioned in the official notification to join as Medical Assistant Airmen. The selection process consists of three phases: an online test, a physical test, and a medical examination. Candidates must meet the physical and medical standards prescribed by the Indian Air Force. Exam Pattern

- Marking: +1 for correct, 0 for unattempted, -0.25 for wrong answer
IAF Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
A physical fitness test is required for this recruitment. Activities like running, push-ups, sit-ups, etc. are included. All the important details are given below.
- 1.6 Km run: Within 7 minutes (for ≤21 years) or 7 minutes 30 seconds (>21 years)
- 10 Push-ups: 1 minute
- 10 Sit-ups: 1 minute
- 20 Squats: 1 minute
IAF Physical Standards
If we talk about the physical standards of this recruitment, then we can see the minimum height of the candidates should be 152 cm. The chest of the candidates should be 77 cm with 5 cm expansion. However, weight should be proportionate to height and age.
IAF Medical Standards for Medical Assistant
