There are a total of 374 vacancies under the BLW Apprentice 2025 notification. Reservation Details

  • PWD Quota: 3% (ITI: 09 seats, Non-ITI: 02 seats).
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3% (ITI: 09 seats, Non-ITI: 02 seats).
  • Community-wise: SC-15%, ST-7.5%, OBC-27%, EWS-10%.

Eligibility Criteria

As with other apprentice recruitments, both ITI and non-ITI candidates are eligible to apply for this post. For non-ITI candidates, the applicant must have passed the Class 10th examination with a minimum of 50% marks. For ITI candidates, the applicant must have passed the Class 10th examination with at least 50% marks and must also possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade.

BLW Apprentice Selection Process

For this recruitment, the selection of candidates will be done on the basis of a merit list, which will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in Class 10. ITI pass candidates will not be given any weightage for their ITI marks; they are only required to have a valid certificate in the relevant trade. If two candidates have the same marks, the candidate with the older age will be given preference. If the date of birth is also the same, then the candidate who passed the Class 10th examination earlier will be considered first.

  1. Merit list based on 10th percentage (minimum 50% aggregate).
  2. Age seniority for tie-breakers.
  3. Document verification and medical fitness.

Training & Stipend
