Career Path and Salary
Selected candidates will be commissioned as Captains in the pay scale Level 10B (₹61,300-1,20,900) of Defence Pay Matrix (7th Pay Commission). They will receive Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹15,500 per month, Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) at 20% of Basic Pay, HRA (as per city category), and Dearness Allowance. Additional allowances include Dress Allowance (₹20,000 per year), Transport Allowance, Children's Education Allowance (₹2,250 per month per child for two children), and PG Allowance for MDS degree holders. Officers also receive free medical facilities for self and dependents, canteen facilities, entitled rations, mess/club/sports facilities, government accommodation, and subsidized car/housing loans. They are covered under Army Group Insurance Scheme with coverage of ₹1 crore.
