Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification:

Candidates must have any one of the following:

Candidates who have a Diploma in Engineering in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Applications from a government-recognized university/institute are eligible for this recruitment. However, candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications are also eligible for it.
  2. Candidates who have a Bachelor's Degree in Science with Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics from a government-recognized university/institute are also eligible for this IB JIO recruitment.

Age Limit (as on 14/09/2025)

Interested candidates who are between 18 to 27 years of age are eligible for this recruitment. However, age relaxation will be given as per government norms, such as 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, up to 5 years for meritorious sportspersons, and up to 40 years for departmental candidates. Selection Process

Exam Pattern

If we talk about the exam pattern of this recruitment, then we can see that in the Tier-I exam candidates will get 2 hours to answer 100 questions. The total marks of this exam are 100. It is an online exam and objective type (MCQs). There is also negative marking in this exam, where 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. In Tier-II, which is the skill test, it is a practical-based exam and technical in nature as mentioned above, and the total marks are 30.
